How I Price My Paintings

As an artist, I believe that transparency helps people better understand the value behind each artwork. Every painting I create is the result of time, craftsmanship, and quality materials — and my pricing reflects these elements in a simple, consistent way.

Abstract Acrylic Paintings

For my abstract acrylic works, I use high-quality cotton canvas and professional-grade acrylic paints. These pieces are often driven by emotion, color, and texture, allowing for spontaneity and expressive movement.

I price these paintings at 2.5 euros per centimeter (based on the length of the longest side).
For example, a 60 cm wide painting would be priced at 300 euros (60 × 2.5 + 60 x 2.5)

Figurative Oil Paintings

My figurative oil paintings require a different approach. They involve a slower, more detailed process, including multiple layers, glazing, and fine brushwork. I use premium linen canvas, known for its durability and refined texture, along with high-quality oil paints that provide rich color depth and longevity.

These paintings are priced at 5 euros per centimeter (again based on the length of the longest side).
For example, a 60 cm wide oil painting would be priced at 600 euros (60 × 5 + 60 x 5).

Why This System Works

This method allows me to price my work fairly and consistently, taking into account both the materials used and the level of time and technique involved. It’s also transparent for collectors — you know exactly how the price is calculated before you make a purchase.

Each painting is unique, but this approach ensures that every piece, whether abstract or figurative, reflects its true creative and material value.
