In “The Redeemer,” I chose to depict Jesus walking on water — a powerful and symbolic moment. But rather than focusing on dramatic contrast or narrative tension, I wanted to emphasize serenity, divinity, and connection.
The entire composition is built around shades of blue.
I explored different tones — deep, almost infinite blues for the sea, and lighter, more ethereal blues for the sky. The goal was to blur the boundary between them, just like I experienced in that Italian landscape. In a way, the environment becomes part of the spiritual message: the idea of something greater, something beyond what we can fully grasp.
